Salamatof Tribe Berry Farm

Come check it out!

Located at 48660 West Poppy, in Soldotna, Alaska, our farm was created with a simple purpose: to bring people together. It’s a place where community, culture, and the land meet — where every visit offers a chance to connect, share, and grow.

Our Goal:

The Salamatof Tribe created the berry farm as a place where elders and youth can come together — sharing stories, learning from one another, and enjoying time on the land. Whether visiting with family or friends, the berry farm offers a space for connection, fresh air, and meaningful shared experiences that strengthen our community and honor our traditions.

Interested in Picking Berries This Summer?

Berry picking has always been more than gathering food — it’s a way to connect with the land, strengthen community ties, and honor the traditions passed down through generations. Our U-Pick experience invites you to take part in this tradition, enjoying the peace, laughter, and togetherness that come from time spent outdoors.

You can choose:

  • Set Price: Pay a fixed rate for what you pick
  • Shared Option: Keep half of what you pick and share the rest

Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, berry picking is a simple and meaningful way to experience the land and take part in something that nourishes both body and spirit.
